New furniture products at AEGON 2011

A slection of our new furniture products will be making their debut at the 2011 AEGON Championships.  Showcased in various hospitality areas will be our new Alaska range of dining chairs, sofas and armchairs.  Also at the event will be our Pila and Bravo cocktail tables. The 2011 AEGON Championships take place between June 6th-12th at The Queen’s Club Pavilion, London.

Improved online ordering system launched

Spaceworks Furniture Hire Ltd. and its sister company Well Dressed Tables Ltd. have recently made improvements to their online quotation system to reflect both companies’ commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

No two events and their venues are the same. With this in mind customers are now able to specify more details about when and where their event is taking place, and also request delivery and collection times to suit their requirements.

At the point a customer’s quote requirements are submitted, the companies aim to provide a fully-priced quotation within 3 working hours.

New depot opening April 2011

Spaceworks Furniture Hire will be closing down for the Christmas season on December 24th, and will re-open on Tuesday 4th January 2011.

Ryder Cup Update

October 1st, 2010

Surprise Surprise..It’s raining in Wales. Heavy rains have postponed the start of the 2010 Ryder Cup with all of the morning matches being suspended.

Hopefully, guests will still be enjoying their visit to the 2010 Ryder Cup by enjoying Spaceworks furniture in the hospitality areas.

This is the first time since the 1997 Ryder Cup at Valderrama in San Roque, Spain, that play has been suspended due to weather.

WDT and SFH Supply “Biggest Ever” Event Awards

Well Dressed Tables and Spaceworks Furniture Hire were the official furniture and tableware suppliers for the 2010 Event Awards, hosted by Event Magazine. The Awards took place September 24th at the Camden Roundhouse and with over 600 guests turned out to be the “biggest ever” Event Awards to date.

Well Dressed Tables worked closely with Moving Venue Caterers to be sure the cutlery, crockery and glassware complimented the evening’s menu; a trio of lamb for the main course and an orange and almond cake for dessert.

Spaceworks and Well Dressed Tables, as part of the Arena Group, were finalists in the Event Supplier of the Year category. Spaceworks’ sponsored event, One Young World, took home the award for Best Conference and our close friends and client, The Recipe, won Caterer of the Year.

September 19th 2010 Pope Benedict XVI said farewell at Birmingham Airport following a four days visit to Britain.

Well Dressed Tables was honoured to have The Pope and his “papal entourage” including, including  Cardinal O’Brien and Archbishop Nichols, Cardinal Murphy-O’Connor, the Nuncio Faustino Sainz Munoz, and Church spokesman Alexander Des Forges sit on our chairs from our Chameleon Chair Collection.

Spaceworks Begins Installation at 2010 Ryder Cup

Following the completion of Arena Group’s temporary infrastructure at the Celtic Manor Resort in Wales, Spaceworks Furniture Hire has begun installing furniture for the 2010 Ryder Cup.

The Twenty Ten is a fresh new course, designed and created for this year’s Ryder Cup, so precision during installation and removal is vital for the success of the event. Spacework’s operation and events team has taken great care in devising the most effective and careful plan of action.

Hospitality areas, including 2,000 stalls, have furnishings including, 1000 poseur tables and 300 sets of soft furnishings.  

Spacework’s successfully completed the 2006 Ryder Cup in Ireland and anticipate this year event to be just as successful. This year competition will commence at one of Europe’s leading golf and business resorts, The Celtic Manor, Wales, October 1st-3rd.
